Started in 2024, Through the Ashes has began fighting for safe, sustainable housing for those recovering from Substance Use Disorder in Monterey County.
Our Mission
Our Mission is to obtain and provide safe, drug free housing to those struggling with addiction while also aiding individuals in building a solid foundation to which they can build the rest of their lives upon.

What We Are Working On
Advocating for the restructuring of zoning for Sober Living Homes in the city of Salinas
Securing homes to be utilized as sober living homes
Contracts that would allow for funding options to be available to those who cannot afford to pay straight out of residential drug treatment centers
All executive directors of the board are currently furthering their education in one form or another to better serve recovering addicts
Creating an in house curriculum to help individuals coming out of California penitentiaries reintegrate back into society
