Get Out There!

It all begins with an idea. I saw the need for sober living homes in the city of Salinas. My friend Scott and I attempted to start one, but were met with strict zoning requirements that made it extremely difficult.

I have began advocating to the planning commission for the city of Salinas to change the zoning requirements for the city to make it easier for those looking to help others. So far, I have sent other city and county zoning requirements to the City Planning Department Chair and plan to attend Planning Meetings to continue to advocate for the change the city desperately needs in this area!

The addicts you see in the streets are someone’s daughter, son, father, mother, friend. They are all loved by someone and their families want them back. My goal is to help those willing have safe, sober and stable housing.
